Miuccia Bianchi Prada, head designer of Prada, has always been one of my favorite designers. She is the founder of the brand's subsidiary, Miu Miu. She has won and been nominated for many awards - including the Glamour Award for the Fashion Force. Born in Milan, Italy (the fashion capital of the world). She is a billionaire fashion designer and businesswoman. In 1973, she graduated from the University of Milan with a Ph.D. in political science. She was involved in the women's rights movement. Even today, you can find Miuccia's feminist ideas in almost every Prada collection. Her husband, Patrizio Bertelli, gave her the idea to produce not just bags but also clothing in Prada. In 1985, Miuccia released the "classic Prada handbag" which became an overnight sensation. It can still be bought today.
